Throughout the World there are many cigar brands. Some of the premium cigars are Cohiba, Thompson, Juan Lopez, Punch and Davidoff. Many of the cigars sold in the United States are imported from the Caribbean. Cuban cigars have the best reputation but have not been sold in the U.S. since 1963 because of American trade restrictions. Cuba for centuries has been known as the finest producer of cigars.
