If you're the kind of person who doesn't like to be bothered with refills and repairs, but wants something nicer than a disposable butane lighter, consider an electro-quartz-powered cigar lighter. These cigar lighters don't use batteries and never need flint or wick replacements. Open the lid and the lighter lights. Close the lid and the flame goes out. That's it. You don't worry about anything else -- except occasional butane replacements. No one's figured how to do away with that yet.
