It's an interesting paradox: hard cigar cases can protect your cigars from the elements, but won't hold them very tight inside the case, allowing them to bounce around. Soft leather cigar cases won't protect as well from the elements, but they hold the cigars nice and tight so they don't bounce around and they enhance the smell and taste of the cigar. Which is best for you? Depends on where you want to take your cigars.
